You will hear first hand how cancer has affected young adult survivors, what co- survivors are feeling as they watch loved ones battle the disease, and even dive in to the disparities facing women of color.

Welcome to This Exceptional Journey!
My name is Yolanda Murphy a lover of coffee, popcorn and all things Golden Girls! Thank you for clicking over to my little corner of the world to walk out the survivor's side of life with me.
Being diagnosed at 36 with breast cancer, I found myself in a place where I felt no one could relate or understand. I felt I didn't have a space or voice for where I was in life. From that need, arose a desire to help others and This Exceptional Journey was born!
I've been blogging at Thisexceptionaljourney.com since early 2018, discussing a gamut of topics from faith and fitness to tech and travel. I quickly discovered I wanted to expand my reach with my voice, using my testimony to help others who are facing adversity, those feeling stuck in their past, and help ignite them to walk in their purpose!
I'm excited to FINALLY be launching this podcast, giving a voice to those who feel they don't have one and where all are welcome! Join me here weekly and make sure to follow me on social media. (profiles below)
